980 Suspects Sought for Crimes in Ankara
Law enforcement agencies in Ankara have been hard at work capturing suspects wanted for various crimes. According to a statement from the Governor’s Office, between April 18-24, police and gendarmerie teams conducted extensive operations to apprehend these individuals.
During this time period, a total of 980 suspects were arrested. Among them, 23 suspects faced sentences of 20 years or more in prison, 51 individuals were sentenced to between 5-10 years in prison, and 311 suspects were facing up to 5 years behind bars.
The operations in Ankara demonstrate the commitment of law enforcement to ensuring the safety and security of the public.
