Production of essential medicines begins at Aidan Pharma plant in Bishkek
In an exciting development for healthcare in the Kyrgyz Republic, the production of key medicines including paracetamol, ibuprofen, acetylsalicylic acid, and acyclovir has officially commenced at the Aidan Pharma pharmaceutical plant. The Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic recently announced this significant milestone.
The Minister of Health, Alymkadyr Beishenaliev, presided over the ceremony marking the launch of production at the plant. He expressed confidence in the quality of the plant’s products, emphasizing their compliance with stringent standards and their affordability in the market.
A notable feature of the Aidan Pharma plant is its capacity to produce up to 10,000 packages of medicines every day. This increase in local production is expected to benefit healthcare organizations in the country, as well as customers at El Aman pharmacies, where the medicines will be made available at competitive prices.
This initiative is part of ongoing efforts to enhance access to essential healthcare products within the Kyrgyz Republic. The introduction of locally manufactured medicines represents a significant step towards ensuring the availability and affordability of critical medications for the population. As the Aidan Pharma plant gears up its operations, it is poised to make a meaningful contribution to the healthcare sector in the country.
