President Erdogan Continues Election Campaign with Rallies in Aydin and Adana
On May 8th, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan held rallies in Edirne, Kırklareli, and Tekirdag after a record turnout event in Istanbul on May 6th. With just a few days left before the May 14th elections, President Erdogan is continuing his election work with rallies in Aydin and Adana on May 9th.
President Erdogan will hold the Aydin rally for the first time at 14:00 at Atatürk City Square. Following this, he will travel to Adana to hold the Adana rally at 17.00 at the Station Square. The Adana rally will be broadcast live on CNN TÜRK and the AK Party’s official Youtube account.
In addition to President Erdogan’s rallies, several AK Party officials and government ministers are also attending various events around the country. Vice President Fuat Oktay will be attending the opening of the AK Party Election Coordination Center in Yenimahalle and Keçiören districts. Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, Minister of Foreign Affairs and AK Party Antalya deputy candidate, will attend the breakfast meeting with Antalya Union of Chambers of Tradesmen and Craftsmen and meet with headmen, NGOs, and citizens in Korkuteli. Süleyman Soylu, Minister of Interior and AK Party Istanbul deputy candidate, will make a series of visits in Istanbul.
Mehmet Muharrem Kasapoglu, Minister of Youth and Sports and AK Party İzmir deputy candidate, will attend several events in Izmir, including the signing ceremony of IzQ & Bilişim Valley Cooperation Protocol and the opening of WENERGY Expo 2023. He will also participate in a talk on “Turkey’s Youth Policies” with Izmir University of Economics Political Platform Club. Murat Kurum, Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change and AK Party Istanbul deputy candidate, is expected to participate in several programs in Ümraniye.
Other officials attending various events include Vahit Kirisci, Minister of Agriculture and Forestry and AK Party Kahramanmaraş deputy candidate, Minister of Commerce Mehmet Mus, Minister of National Education Mahmut Özer, Minister of Transport and Infrastructure and AK Party Trabzon deputy candidate Adil Karaismailoğlu, and Industry and Technology Minister and AK Party Bursa deputy candidate Mustafa Varank.
