Alert issued for Hürjet in Ankara, Stay calm
The Ankara Governorship has issued a warning to citizens regarding the upcoming first flight of the Hürjet aircraft above the speed of sound in Ankara. Developed by Turkish Aerospace Industries Inc., the Hürjet’s maiden flight is scheduled to take place at Mürted Airport.
In a statement posted on the governorship’s social media account, it was emphasized that the flight will be conducted in a planned and controlled manner. Citizens were urged not to be alarmed and to refrain from experiencing any anxiety or panic during the flight.
The flight of the Hürjet will take place between 09.30 and 10.30, and all necessary precautions have been taken to ensure the safety of the operation. Turkish Aerospace Industries Inc. will be overseeing the process, using Mürted Airport for the aircraft’s takeoff and landing.
