Kanal D’s new series Dönence has revealed its cast, creating excitement among TV viewers. The series, which is expected to be one of the most emotional productions of the summer period, will soon start filming in Foça, one of the beautiful districts of İzmir.
Dönence features young and remarkable names in its cast, including Caner Topçu and Sümeyye Aydoğan in the lead roles. Some positive opinions on social media suggest that the duo could make a good drama couple, following their previous collaboration in the youth TV series Duy Beni last summer.
Produced by Kanal D İç Yapımlar, the series tells the story of Night, the sister of Gülce with asperger syndrome. Apart from the lead actors, Dönence also boasts a talented supporting cast that includes Didem İnselel, Ülkü Hilal Çiftçi, Can Kızıltuğ, Doğa Karakaş, Atakan Hoşgören, Nazlı Çetin, Şebnem Doğruer, Mesut Yılmaz and Edanur Gülbudak.
Dönence is set in Foça, with its magnificent beauty, and is directed by Kerem Çakıroğlu, who will create a visual feast on the screen with Foça’s historical texture, stone houses, unforgettable sunset views, and unique natural beauties. The series is written by Nuray Uslu.
