Antalya Airport Reports Increase in Passenger and Freight Traffic
The Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure State Airports Authority (DHMİ) General Directorate has released the latest statistics for Antalya Airport, revealing a significant increase in airline, passenger, and freight traffic last month.
In March, Antalya Airport saw a total of 402,350 domestic passengers and 676,010 international passengers, indicating a strong performance in both sectors. The airport also recorded 8,213 aircraft movements during the month, with 3,450 flights on domestic routes and 4,763 flights on international routes.
Furthermore, the cargo traffic at Antalya Airport was robust, with a total of 12,409 tons of cargo, mail, and baggage handled in March alone.
Looking at the overall performance for the period of January to March, Antalya Airport served a total of 2,983,584 passengers. The airport also handled 23,053 aircraft movements and 33,606 tons of cargo, mail, and baggage during this timeframe.
These statistics highlight the continued growth and importance of Antalya Airport as a key hub for domestic and international travel, underscoring its vital role in connecting people and goods to destinations near and far.
