Two Foremen Shot at Mercedes Factory in Sindelfingen, Germany
On Tuesday, the Stuttgart Prosecutor’s Office and Ludwigsburg police issued a joint statement in response to a shooting at the Mercedes factory in Sindelfingen, near Stuttgart. The statement said that it was unclear why the crime had been committed.
A Turkish suspect was arrested and charged with murder after shooting two foremen at the factory. The victim, Ayhan B, was taken to the hospital, where he later died. The second victim, Özkan K, died at the scene.
The suspect reportedly fired a gun at Ayhan B before firing on Özkan K. The motive for the shooting remains unknown.
Following the arrest of the suspect, an arrest warrant was issued by the Stuttgart Prosecutor’s Office. The suspect was sent to prison to await trial.
