According to recent data released by Uzbekistan’s Statistics Agency, Kazakhstan has solidified its position as one of Uzbekistan’s largest foreign economic partners, ranking among the top three. The trade turnover between the two countries reached an impressive $4.22 billion in 2024.

While China remains Uzbekistan’s leading trading partner with a trade turnover of $12.4 billion, accounting for 18.9% of the total, and Russia following closely behind with $11.6 billion, Kazakhstan is not far behind in terms of economic cooperation.

In the mutual trade between Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, the former exported goods worth $1.4 billion to the latter, while imports totaled $2.8 billion, highlighting the strong economic ties between the two nations.

Overall, Uzbekistan’s foreign trade turnover saw a significant increase of 3.8% last year, reaching $65.9 billion. This growth reflects the ongoing efforts to strengthen economic partnerships with countries like Kazakhstan, ultimately benefiting both nations economically.
