Azerbaijan and North Macedonia Strengthen Partnership at 12th Global Baku Forum
During the opening of the 12th Global Baku Forum, President of North Macedonia Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova highlighted the established partnership between Azerbaijan and North Macedonia with a goal of further development. The forum, organized by the Nizami Ganjavi International Center, has brought together leaders from around the world to discuss the theme of “Rethinking World Order: Turning Challenges into Opportunities.”
Siljanovska-Davkova expressed her appreciation for Azerbaijan’s hospitality and the invitation to participate in the forum. She emphasized the similarities between the two countries, noting that Azerbaijan is known as the land of fire while North Macedonia is a sunny country. Both countries gained independence in 1991, further strengthening their bond.
During her visit to Azerbaijan, the President of North Macedonia held productive meetings with officials, paving the way for stronger ties between the two nations. She emphasized the importance of the forum in addressing the challenges that the world currently faces.
The 12th Global Baku Forum, running from March 13-15, has attracted current and former heads of state and government, ministers, parliamentarians, representatives of international organizations, heads of UN structures, Nobel Prize laureates, scientists, and experts. The discussions at the forum are focused on finding innovative solutions to global challenges and turning them into opportunities for growth and development.
