As part of his recent visit to Turkey, Minister Mammadov also held a bilateral meeting with Turkey’s Minister of Agriculture, Ibrahim Yumakli. The discussions during this meeting focused on the existing cooperation in the agricultural sector between the two countries and the possibility of expanding it.

The parties reviewed potential areas of collaboration with Turkey in the field of fisheries, including the transfer of the latest technologies in this sector and the exchange of experiences in mitigating the negative impacts of climate change on agriculture. They also discussed strategies for increasing the trade turnover of agricultural and food products between the two countries.

Minister Mammadov also participated in the Agricultural Diplomacy Seminar organized as part of the 4th Agriculture and Forestry Council held in Ankara.
