Nationalist Movement Party Chairman Devlet Bahceli addressed citizens at a rally in Karaman, where he spoke about the upcoming May 14 elections in Turkey. He expressed his appreciation to those who attended the meeting and wished for the elections to be beneficial for the future of democracy, urging for common sense to be used during the process. Bahceli noted that language is a living being and that Karaman will take a Turkish stand on election day.
He criticized what he called the “contemptible alliance” and accused them of being against both Turkey and democracy. Bahceli declared that no internal or external focus could block Turkey’s way, stating that their belief, claim, and will support Turkey’s power in the future. He referred to the May 14 elections as the democratic threshold of the new century, which must be crossed with the guide of national and spiritual values.
Bahceli also criticized those who have called for President Erdogan to resign, saying that the great Turkish nation will show who will go to the crusader mentality. He stated that Turkey cannot be directed or made into a colony. He reinforced that the power of the future is Turkey, and the account will be seen at the ballot box on Sunday.
The Nationalist Movement Party Chairman accused the opposition party of being in cooperation with criminals and stated that the Fetullah Terrorist Organization (FETO) is a bulwark against CHP leader Kılıçdaroğlu. He claimed that the PKK is a supporter of Kılıçdaroğlu and that they want to take revenge on the republic. Bahceli vowed to resist against them, saying they will be erased.
Finally, Bahceli accused the opposition of accelerating FETO plots, noted that Kılıçdaroğlu and his alliance is a national security issue, and claimed that they have no project that sheds light on the future. He stated that they want a rematch of July 15 and that the PKK openly supports Kılıçdaroğlu. Bahceli vowed to never compromise Turkey’s independence and that together, they will reach a more prosperous, safer, and peaceful nation. He concluded by saying that those who set traps for Turkey will be defeated on May 14.
