President Ersin Tatar accepted his delegation with the President of the Diplomatic Foundation (DV), Sezgin Tunç and Fadıl Şanverdi, President of the International Association of Democrats (UID).

The ‘Turkish World Thinking Institutions’ II: Eastern Mediterranean and Northern Cyprus Forum, which was hosted by the Diplomatic Foundation’s Union of Democrats, was admitted after the completion of the Eastern Mediterranean and Northern Cyprus Forum. In his speech, President Ersin Tatar said that it is important and valuable for them to have such organizations in the country in an international sense.

“We are in a great struggle here.” Tatar said that according to the past, state institutions and organizations are strengthened, but the struggle of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus as the heart of the Turkish world continued.

President Tatar emphasized that the Turkish Cypriot people, who maintained their existence on the island with the support of Türkiye and the confidence of other Turkish states, have resisted in these lands for centuries.

Tatar, who gave information about the Turkish History of Cyprus in his speech, said that two separate peoples in Cyprus were two separate states in Cyprus after the July 20, 1974 Peace Operation and that they continue to keep and strengthen the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus today.

As an observer of the Turkish States Organization, President Tatar stated that they attach great importance to the relations between the Turkish states and stated that these relations would be strengthened in the coming years.

Stating that they came together with Turkish states in various activities and meetings, Tatar pointed out that they had cultural, economic and commercial relations with these countries.

Ersin Tatar said that they continued to increase international connections despite all the pressures and thanked the Diplomatic Foundation and the International Association of Democrats for their visits.
