Tatar met with Cyprus veterans at the dinner hosted by Governor Orhan Tavlı at Samsun Metropolitan Municipality Multi-Purpose Hall.

Emphasizing that Cyprus veterans are heroes for them, Tatar said, “They are the ones who wrote epics for us in Cyprus. I love you, you are our crown jewel. You will always exist in a special place in our hearts.” he said.

Tatar pointed out that they have been struggling hard in Cyprus for many years and said:

One sovereignty, one identity, one power, and since it is within the European Union, there are zero soldiers and zero guarantees for our Turkey. It is not possible for us to say ‘Yes’ to the ground that leads to insincere, sneaky games and intrigues towards the termination of Turkey’s gains and guarantor rights, the withdrawal of Turkish soldiers from the island, the assimilation of the Turkish Cypriot people over time, and the removal of Turkey from the Eastern Mediterranean. That’s why we are following a new policy with the support of the Turkish government and the esteemed President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
