Bishkek to Host Osaka Day Celebration
On February 8, Bishkek will be hosting Osaka Day, organized by the Kyrgyz Republic – Japan Center for Human Development. The event aims to provide guests with insight into the upcoming world EXPO exhibition in Osaka, scheduled to take place from April 13 to October 13.
Attendees will have the opportunity to interact with participants from Kyrgyzstan and learn more about the exhibition. In addition, they will get to savor popular Japanese dishes such as takoyaki and okonomiyaki, known as trademarks of Osaka, and also try on traditional clothing like yukata.
The festivities will also include various activities such as master classes on calligraphy and origami, allowing guests to experience and appreciate the rich cultural heritage of Japan.
Osaka Day promises to be a vibrant and engaging celebration of Japanese culture and a wonderful opportunity for cultural exchange between Japan and the Kyrgyz Republic.
