Borussia Dortmund dominated Borussia Mönchengladbach at Signal Iduna Park during the 32nd round of the Bundesliga, finishing the game with a score of 5-2.
Donyell Malen opened the scoring for the Yellow-blacks in the fifth minute, followed by Jude Bellingham’s successful penalty kick in the 18th minute. Sebastian Haller scored twice in the 20th and 32nd minutes, giving Dortmund a comfortable 4-0 lead in the first half.
Although Borussia Mönchengladbach managed to narrow the lead with goals from Ramy Bensebaini, who scored from the penalty spot in the 75th minute, and Lars Stindl in the 85th minute, it was not enough to secure the win.
In the 90+4 minute, Giovanni Reyna sealed the victory for Dortmund with a fifth goal.
With this crucial win, Borussia Dortmund moved up to second place in the Bundesliga standings, with 67 points, just one point behind league leaders Bayern Munich. Borussia Mönchengladbach, on the other hand, suffered a setback, dropping to 11th place with 39 points.
