Cancer Seminar held by GAB
Gönyeli Alayköy Municipality (GAB) and Memorial Cyprus recently co-organized a seminar on cancer prevention called “How Can I Protect Myself and My Family From Cancer.” The seminar took place at the Gonyeli Alayköy Municipality Conference Hall and featured a speech by Memorial Antalya Hospital Oncology Department Head Prof. Dr. Mustafa Özdoğan. During his talk, he shared important information on how to prevent cancer.
The Mayor of Gonyeli Alayköy Municipality, Hüseyin Amcaoğlu, expressed his gratitude for the esteemed professor’s presence, noting that he has won numerous awards and published several articles on the topic of cancer prevention. The mayor also pointed out that cancer affects almost every family and that it is crucial to know the right strategies for preventing the disease.
Moreover, Mayor Amcaoğlu mentioned that the Gonyeli Health House is opening next week and is expected to cater to the elderly over 65. The seminar was a great opportunity for attendees to be informed about cancer prevention strategies and for them to learn more about GAB’s health initiatives. Overall, the event was a success, and GAB hopes to continue organizing informative seminars on health issues in the future.
