Certificates Awarded for Successful Completion of Turkish Courses at Nicosia Yunus Emre Enstitüsü.
Nicosia Yunus Emre Enstitüsü Honors Turkish Course Trainees
A special ceremony was held at Nicosia Yunus Emre Enstitüsü to acknowledge the trainees who successfully completed Turkish language courses in the academic year 2022-2023. The ceremony included the presentation of certificates to the trainees who completed A1 and B1 levels.
The event began with an opening speech by Nicosia Yunus Emre Enstitüsü Coordinator, Abdullah Aktaş. South Korean trainee MiHyoun Kim also delivered a speech to commemorate the recent earthquake disaster in Turkey and express condolences for the losses.
The ceremony included various activities such as reading of poems and writings by trainees, as well as singing of songs. In attendance were Turkish course participants organized by Nicosia Yunus Emre Institute in collaboration with Final International University, and students from Democracy Secondary School.
Yunus Emre Institute supported the secondary school students in learning Turkish by providing material assistance. They performed various songs during the ceremony, including “My Friend Donkey,” “Hayat Bayram Olsa,” and “Sev Kardeşim.”
The event concluded with the trainees from 16 different countries promoting their cultural cuisine at their respective country stands and serving it to participants.
The ceremony demonstrated the fruitful efforts of Nicosia Yunus Emre Enstitüsü in helping students worldwide to successfully learn Turkish.
