
“Champions League Semi-Finals Kick Off with Exciting Matches”

Real Madrid and Manchester City played out a 1-1 draw in the first leg of their Champions League semi-final at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium on Tuesday night. Despite being the home team, Real Madrid fell behind to a goal from Belgian midfielder Kevin de Bruyne in the 67th minute. However, Brazilian midfielder Casemiro had given Real Madrid the lead in the first half. Although Real Madrid had the better of the chances after their goal, they were unable to add to their lead. The second half saw City apply more pressure and they were rewarded with De Bruyne’s equaliser. Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti was eventually booked for arguing with the official following City’s goal. The second leg will take place at the Etihad Stadium in Manchester on May 17th.
