
“Civil Engineering Week: EMU Department’s Exciting Lineup of Events”

EMU to Host 28th Civil Engineering Week on May 15-17
The Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) Engineering faculty’s Civil Engineering Department is all set to host the 28th “Civil Engineering Week” on May 15-17. The opening ceremony of the event will be held on May 15 at 10:00 in the EMU Civil Engineering Department CE 105 seminar room.
The Vice Rector for Administrative and Technical Affairs, Prof. Dr. Serhan Şensoy, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Özkaramanlı, and Head of Civil Engineering Department, Assoc. Dr. Eriş Uygar, will make the opening speeches of the event, followed by technical speeches from the Secretary-General of the Chamber of Civil Engineers, Assist. Assoc. Dr. Abdullah Ekinci and Prof. Dr. Tahir Çelik.
On the second day of the event, a trip to investigate the geological structure of Değirmenlik will take place, along with technical speeches from EMU faculty members. The second day will end with the table tennis tournament.
The third day of the event will continue with the “bridge test” event, followed by the backgammon and table tennis tournaments. The event will conclude with a closing ceremony, where successful students will receive high honor and honor certificates, and certificates of participation will be given to everyone who took part in the activities organized within the scope of the events.
