Concerts for Youth Week Presented by TRNC CSO
The Presidential Symphony Orchestra will be hosting a series of concerts for “Youth Week” in celebration of the “19 May Commemoration of Atatürk, Youth and Sports Day”. The concerts will be held on Wednesday, May 17th, at NEU – AKKM Nicosia and on Thursday, May 18th, at METU Northern Cyprus Campus, Rauf Raif Denktaş Hall. Both concerts will start at 8:00 pm and are free and open to the public.
To reserve a seat, art lovers may call 03922291762 during working hours. The TRNC CSO will be led by conductor Murat Menket, and the soloists for these concerts are violinists Sesil Anıl, Nursel Hançer, and piano player Deniz Besim.
The program for the concerts will include “LV Beethoven, Coriolan Overture Op.62; WAMozart, Piano Concerto 5 in A Major K219; J.Haydn, Piano Concerto in D Major Hob.XVIII:11; M.Bruch, Violin Concerto 1 in G minor Op.26”.
The Presidential Symphony Orchestra will bring the community together through music during “Youth Week” and help celebrate the spirit of Atatürk, Youth and Sports Day.
