
Constitutional Provisions Info Session in Baku

An information session for media representatives was recently held in Baku as part of the Year of Constitution and Sovereignty. The event was organized by the Institute of Law and Human Rights in collaboration with the Media Development Agency (MEDIA), with the participation of 26 media representatives.
The topic of the session was “The Constitution as the Supreme Legal Document: Guarantee of Fundamental Human Rights and Freedoms in the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan.” Speakers at the event emphasized the importance of respecting human rights as a crucial criterion for assessing any state. Experts delivered presentations on various topics including the right to work, housing, education, environmental safety, and freedom of speech.
The session concluded with a discussion and a question-and-answer session with journalists. The event aimed to enhance understanding and awareness of the constitution and its role in protecting fundamental human rights and freedoms in Azerbaijan.
