A citizen arriving from Abu Dhabi was apprehended at Tashkent International Airport while in the process of retrieving 226 grams of jewelry, valued at approximately 610 million UZS. The individual was caught loading the items into a vehicle, which had been smuggled into the country by fellow passengers on the same flight.

In a separate case, another incident unfolded at the Navoi customs post where officers detected a pedestrian exhibiting suspicious behavior. Following a detailed inspection, authorities found an alarming 1,028 grams of gold bullion hidden on the individual. The total value of the confiscated bullion is estimated at around 1.312 billion UZS.
