Deputy Minister of Health of Kyrgyzstan Visits Injured Girl in Osh Hospital
Bishkek – 15:45, 10 January 2025 – The Deputy Minister of Health of Kyrgyzstan, Kaarmanbek Baidavletov, recently visited a 12-year-old girl who was injured in a shell explosion in Arka-2 village in the Batken region. The visit took place at the Osh Interregional Children’s Clinical Hospital, as reported by the press service of the medical institution.
The young girl’s health has shown improvement and the hospital staff is working tirelessly to ensure her full recovery. During his visit, Kaarmanbek Baidavletov met with the attending physicians and assured them that state support for the girl’s medical treatment will continue without interruption.
It was also mentioned that the girl’s mother is currently receiving treatment at the Osh Interregional Clinical Hospital.
The incident that led to their injuries occurred on January 5, 2025, in Arka-2 village, Leilek district, when a shell exploded. Both the woman and her daughter were initially taken to the General Medical Practice Center in the village of Kulundu for first aid before being airlifted to Osh city for further treatment.
