Istanbul Police Crackdown on Reckless Driving After Drifting Incident
The Istanbul Police Department Traffic Inspection Branch Directorate has launched an investigation following the circulation of images showing a driver engaging in dangerous drifting maneuvers on Zekeriyaköy road. The driver, identified as C.Ö.T, was apprehended by police officers based on information obtained from the license plate.
As a result of the investigation, C.Ö.T. has been handed an administrative fine of 32,233 Turkish liras in accordance with the Highway Traffic Law. Additionally, the driver’s license has been confiscated for a period of 60 days as a consequence of the reckless behavior displayed on the road.
