Experts have also raised concerns about potential earthquakes in the Marmara Sea, with reports of 3 significant holes in the sea bed. According to Dr. Ahmet Bal, a researcher at Tekirdağ Namık Kemal University, these holes could trigger a tsunami during an earthquake in Istanbul, putting two districts at high risk.
It is crucial for residents in earthquake-prone areas to stay informed and prepared for such natural disasters to minimize the potential impact on lives and property.
