Energy Minister Discusses Gas Delivery to Bishkek Homes
Bishkek to Expand Gas Service to Residential Areas in 2025
The Minister of Energy of Kyrgyzstan, Taalaibek Ibraev, revealed plans to provide gas service to several residential areas in Bishkek in 2025. This announcement was made during a meeting of the Committee on Fuel and Energy Complex, Subsoil Use and Industrial Policy of the Parliament.
Gazprom Kyrgyzstan is currently working on projects to supply gas to Ene-Sai, part of Archa-Beshik, and Selektsionnoye residential areas. In addition, the Minister stated that gas service will be extended to part of Archa-Beshik, Bakai-Ata, Tokoldosh residential areas, Novopavlovka village, and Ak-Bosogo residential area in 2024.
To support this initiative, Gazprom Kyrgyzstan has allocated 1 billion soms for the project in 2024. This expansion of gas service is expected to provide residents with a more reliable and convenient energy source for their homes.
