Extended Deadline for First-Year Students’ Tuition Fee Payment
The Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Innovations has recently made an important announcement regarding the tuition payment deadline for first-year bachelor’s and master’s students. The deadline has been extended until December 1, 2024, giving students more time to arrange their finances.
This decision, which has been confirmed by the State Commission’s directive, specifically applies to students who were admitted in the 2024/2025 academic year. The extension is aimed at assisting several categories of first-year students, including those enrolled under basic or differentiated (super) contract terms, applicants from Karakalpakstan admitted through additional quotas, and students who have transferred or been reinstated.
Under the new arrangement, students admitted within admission quotas are required to pay a minimum of 25% of their annual tuition cost if they are enrolled under the basic contract. Those opting for differentiated contract terms must cover at least 50% of the specified annual tuition cost by the extended deadline.
Additionally, for second-year and higher students, tuition payment extensions may still be possible, subject to the discretion of their university administration. This flexibility is intended to provide students with the necessary support during their academic journey.
Overall, this extension of the tuition payment deadline is a positive development for first-year students, offering them the opportunity to manage their financial obligations more effectively. Students are encouraged to take advantage of this extension and ensure that they meet the payment requirements within the stipulated timeframe.
