Tragic Traffic Accident Results in Loss of Life
A recent traffic accident on the Famagusta-Lefkoşa highway has resulted in the loss of life of pedestrian Buğra Kılıç. The incident occurred at 00.30 ranks in front of the Çanakkale Pond, where a vehicle with an unknown license plate collided with Kılıç who was on foot on the road.
According to the Police Press Officer, the unknown driver of the vehicle hit Kılıç under the left lane on the double-lane road. The impact of the collision caused Kılıç to be thrown forward into the left lane of the road. Subsequently, another vehicle with the plate number VJ 904 hit Kılıç again, who was lying on the road, and left the scene without stopping.
Sadly, Kılıç lost his life at the scene of the accident. The identity of the unknown driver remains unknown as they fled the scene without leaving any information. The driver of the VJ 904 plate car, Berkcan Lisani, has been arrested as part of the ongoing police investigation.
