Fatal clash in Kütahya: 1 dead, 1 injured in fight with rifles and adzes
A deadly fight erupted in Kütahya, Turkey, resulting in one person dead and another injured. The incident occurred in Parkören District, where 43-year-old Hakan Zengin was shot with a rifle, ultimately losing his life. Another individual, Mustafa A. (40), was injured with an adze during the altercation.
The two hostile groups, known to have animosity towards each other, crossed paths after a military gathering in the neighborhood. The confrontation quickly turned violent, with Gökhan A. (43) shooting Hakan Zengin and Gökhan A.’s father Ramazan A. (63) injuring Mustafa A. with a slash.
Emergency services rushed to the scene and transported the injured to Kütahya Evliya Çelebi Training and Research Hospital. Unfortunately, Hakan Zengin succumbed to his injuries while receiving medical treatment.
A swift response from the gendarmerie led to the apprehension of Gökhan A. and Ramazan A. The two suspects are currently in custody as authorities continue their investigation into the incident.
The tragic event has left the community in shock, as authorities work to piece together the events that led to the deadly clash.
