Fatal Jeep Accident in Tekirdağ: 2 Doctors Killed, 2 Injured
A tragic accident occurred in Kumbağ District when a jeep with plate number 22 ADU 345, under the management of LK, lost control and crashed into a retaining wall. This devastating incident led to the untimely passing of Namık Kemal University Faculty Member Nilda Turgut and Tekirdağ İsmail Fehmi Cumalıoğlu City Hospital Specialist Dr. Emel Ersöz.
Upon receiving notice of the accident, health, fire brigade, and gendarmerie teams rushed to the scene to provide assistance. The bodies of the deceased were taken to the morgue of Tekirdağ İsmail Fehmi Cumalıoğlu City Hospital after being examined by the public prosecutor.
The injured individuals, including the driver LK and AAG, were attended to by medical teams and referred to Tekirdağ İsmail Fehmi Cumalıoğlu City Hospital for further treatment. As a result of the accident, traffic on the highway was temporarily controlled to ensure the safety of all motorists.
