Four Suspects Arrested in Connection with Attempted Assassination of Komil Allamjonov
The Prosecutor General’s Office has made significant progress in the investigation of the October 26 shooting incident involving Komil Allamjonov, former head of the Presidential Administration’s Information Policy Department. Three additional suspects have been detained in connection to the attack, as announced by the authorities.
The incident took place when shots were fired at a Range Rover carrying Allamjonov. Prompt action by law enforcement led to the arrest of an initial suspect on the morning of October 27. Further investigations and operational efforts led to the apprehension of three more individuals believed to be linked to the attack. All suspects are currently in custody as the investigation continues.
