Fraudulent Citizen Extradited from Spain to Kyrgyzstan
Bishkek – 24.kg news agency reported on January 22, 2025, that the Prosecutor General’s Office of Kyrgyzstan has successfully completed the extradition procedure of a Kyrgyz citizen wanted for large-scale fraud.
According to the report, the individual was extradited from Spain, where he was accused of committing fraud amounting to approximately 60 million soms. This achievement was made possible through the collaborative efforts of the Prosecutor General’s Office and the Ministry of Internal Affairs, along with the cooperation of Spanish law enforcement agencies.
The Prosecutor General’s Office emphasized that they are actively working on extraditing individuals on the international wanted list to ensure that they face criminal consequences in their home country. This effort is part of their commitment to upholding international treaties and bringing justice to those involved in criminal activities.
