The Professional Football Disciplinary Committee recently released a statement detailing the latest penalties inflicted upon clubs and players. The decisions made during the committee’s meeting on June 6, 2023, were outlined in the announcement.

Yukatel Kayserispor Club’s athlete Yaw Ackah received a penalty of two disclaimers from official competitions due to his serious foul against the opponent team athlete in the Vavacars Fatih Karagümrük-Yukatel Kayserispor Spor Toto Super League match on May 30, 2023.

MKE Ankaragücü and Galatasaray A.Ş. were both punished in the Super League competition. MKE Ankaragücü received a fine of 100,000 TL due to illegal attendance, while the club was also penalised a further 250,000 TL for ugly and bad cheers caused by fans, carried out for the 4th time in the same season in the competition where it was the host club.

The club was further punished by preventing certain spectators from entering the competition in which they are the next host club by blocking their electronic ticket cards.

Trabzonspor A.Ş was fined 250,000 TL due to ugly and bad cheers caused by fans in the match against Bitexen Giresunspor and because this action was carried out for the 9th time in the competition in which it was the guest club in the same season. The club prevented certain spectators from entering the competition in which they are the next guest club by blocking their cards within the scope of the electronic ticket.

Eyüpspor-Bodrumspor A.Ş. was punished with a 50,000 TL money penalty in the Spor Toto 1st League Play-Off competition due to the fact that the stairwells were not left empty, carried out for the third time in the same season.

Finally, Orduspor 1967 A.Ş. coach Şihhamit Sayici, who was involved in the TFF 3rd League Play-Off competition against Karaman Football Club-Orduspor 1967 A.Ş, was fined 3,000 TL finance and prohibited from entering the locker room and spare booth in 1 official competition due to unsportsmanlike behavior towards the match referee.
