Ganz’s Manufacturing Increases Presence in Nuclear and Renewable Energy Industries

Ganz Transformer and Electrical Rotating Machinery Manufacturing Ltd. has initiated a HUF 4.65B (EUR 11.8M) technology development project within its rotating machinery business. The project aims to renovate tools and equipment used in production, as well as modernize machinery to transform the plant into a modern manufacturing facility catering to the renewable energy sector.

Expected to be completed within two years, the investment is projected to significantly increase orders for Ganz’s rotating equipment business, with sales forecasted to triple within three years. Additionally, the company plans to double its workforce in the business division.

After resuming production at its Tápiószele plant in 2020, Ganz has expanded its market reach by focusing on meeting the demands of the renewable energy sector. The company has experienced substantial growth in its rotating machinery business, serving clients in Hungary, Europe, and beyond.
