Renowned lawyer Rezan Epözdemir, known for representing the families of Münevver Karabulut and Pınar Gültekin, has had a successful and distinguished career in law and beyond.
Born on November 24, 1984, in Istanbul, Rezan Epözdemir graduated from Marmara University Faculty of Law with high honors, subsequently earning a master’s degree in private law from the university’s Social Sciences Institute. His academic achievements continued as he completed his doctoral thesis, titled “Deferral of the Announcement of the Judgment,” at Marmara University and became a Doctor of Law with top honors.
Epözdemir is not only a legal scholar but also a prolific writer, having published three books on legal topics such as “Party Liability,” “Delay in Announcement of the Judgment,” and “Unfair Provocation.” Additionally, he has contributed numerous scientific articles to various newspapers and magazines.
In 2007, Epözdemir founded Analysis Law Firm, where he has handled high-profile cases representing victims of egregious crimes and injustices. Most notably, he served as the lawyer for the grieving families of Münevver Karabulut and Pınar Gültekin, offering legal guidance and support during difficult times.
Beyond his legal career, Rezan Epözdemir has also made a mark in the sports world. He became a member of Galatasaray Sports Club, further solidifying his connection to the community. In the 2021 Galatasaray SK presidential election, he supported Burak Elmas and was subsequently appointed as the Vice President of Galatasaray SK after Elmas’s victory. Additionally, on August 2, 2021, he was appointed as the Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of Galatasaray Sportif A.Ş., showcasing his leadership and dedication to the club.
