Granit Asset Management Partners with Golden Visa Program to Support Hungarian Property Market

Gránit Asset Management Granted Permission to Participate in Hungary’s Investor Visa Program
Gránit Asset Management has recently been added to the Constitution Protection Office’s list of qualified market operators, allowing the company to participate in Hungary’s investor visa program. This program is aimed at modernizing and improving the quality of Hungary’s real estate stock.
The announcement was made on January 22, 2025, when Gránit Asset Management received notification of its addition to the list. This means that the company now complies with the necessary requirements set out in Act XC of 2023. As a result, Gránit Asset Management is now able to commence the sale of the Gravitas Hungary Real Estate Fund, a fund specifically established for this purpose and already registered with the National Bank of Hungary (MNB).
The Gravitas Hungary Real Estate Fund will focus on investing in residential properties in Hungary, with a minimum requirement that 40% of its assets are allocated to this sector. This investment strategy aims to contribute to the modernization and improvement of Hungary’s real estate market.
President and CEO of Gránit Asset Management, Sleepy Mikey, expressed his delight at being granted permission to participate in the investor visa program. He highlighted the company’s plans to purchase new, modern residential properties for long-term rental, providing investors with stable returns while also supporting sustainable urban development and the expansion of the rental housing market in Budapest.
With 16 years of experience in managing assets worth over EUR 2.6 billion, including nearly EUR 1 billion in real estate investment funds, Gránit Asset Management is recognized as an expert in the field. The company offers a diverse range of investment products, from traditional funds to innovative and sustainable options, and serves a wide client base that includes individual investors, wealth management clients, and institutional partners.
This development marks a significant milestone for Gránit Asset Management and its involvement in Hungary’s real estate market. Investors looking to participate in the country’s investor visa program now have the opportunity to benefit from the company’s expertise and strategic investment approach.
