Guzelyurt Animal Protection Association calls for ongoing neutering projects

Güzelyurt Animal Protection Association Thanks Netap for Neutering Projects
Rana Sarro, President of Güzelyurt Animal Protection Association, has praised the successful reduction in the street dog population in the area, attributing it to ongoing neutering operations. Sarro expressed gratitude to Netap – Network for Animal Protection for their sponsorship and veterinarian Berna Adataş for their dedicated efforts in helping to control the street dog population.
In a recent statement, Sarro highlighted the significant impact of neutering programs in Güzelyurt, with around 400 dogs being neutered over the past 2 years. He emphasized the importance of continuing these projects to maintain the progress made in reducing the number of street dogs in the region.
Despite the positive results achieved so far, Sarro also acknowledged the need for ongoing support for neutering operations to prevent a resurgence in the street dog population. He emphasized the importance of collaborative efforts between organizations like Netap and local authorities to ensure the success of these initiatives.
Sarro urged the community to remain vigilant and proactive in addressing the issue of street dogs, emphasizing that everyone has a role to play in ensuring the well-being of both animals and residents. By working together and supporting ongoing neutering projects, Güzelyurt can continue to see improvements in animal welfare and community safety.
