Hakan Çalhanoğlu backs Inter: Latest News Update

Hakan Çalhanoğlu Shines as Inter Winks at Champions League Final
Inter Milan defeated their arch-rival AC Milan in the first match of the Champions League semi-finals, moving one step closer to the prestigious cup. Turkish midfielder Hakan Çalhanoğlu played a significant role in the 2-0 victory, assisting the first goal scored by Edin Dzeko in the 8th minute. The national player also made an excellent attempt from outside the penalty area in the 16th minute, which unfortunately hit the post. Despite being substituted in the 78th minute, Çalhanoğlu’s performance was exceptional. He used 19 of 22 passes correctly and caught a pass rate of 86 percent, showcasing his skills as a midfielder.
This season, Çalhanoğlu produced one goal and two assists in ten Champions League games played for Inter, including the only goal of his team in the match they beat Barcelona 1-0 in Italy on October 4th. With Inter winning the first leg of the semi-finals 2-0, Çalhanoğlu came very close to being the fourth Turkish player to play in the Champions League final. Previously, Yıldıray Baştürk, Hamit Altıntop, and Nuri Şahin played in the Giants League final.
Inter and Milan will face each other once again on 16 May for the semi-final second leg. If Inter wins that game, they will qualify for the Champions League final, which will be played on Thursday, June 10, at Istanbul Atatürk Olympic Stadium. Fans hope that Çalhanoğlu will continue to play exceptionally well and lead Inter to victory in the next match, following in the footsteps of his compatriots.
