Health Ministers Dinçyürek and Memişoğlu Convene in Ankara
Health Ministers of Türkiye and Turkish Cyprus Meet to Discuss Collaborative Health Efforts
As part of his Ankara visit, Minister of Health Hakan Dinçyürek met with the Minister of Health of the Turkish Republic of Cyprus, Dr. Kemal Memişoğlu. The focus of the meeting was on discussing joint initiatives in the field of healthcare between the two countries.
Various ongoing projects were reviewed during the meeting, and significant progress was made in areas such as drug supply, strengthening and modernizing the Nicosia Dr. Burhan Nalbantoğlu Hospital, and ensuring the presence of specialized experts in a sustainable manner. Additionally, new healthcare projects were explored, and a common roadmap was established for their implementation.
Minister Dinçyürek expressed gratitude to Minister Memişoğlu and his team for their support in the healthcare sector. Both parties agreed to continue their close collaboration and partnership in the future.
As a token of appreciation, mutual gifts were exchanged at the conclusion of the meeting. The discussions and agreements reached during this meeting highlight the commitment of both countries to working together to improve healthcare services and facilities for their citizens.
