Hungary, May 9, 2023 – Wizz Air, the Hungarian low-cost airline, has announced its newest destination in South Asia. The airline will be flying to Karachi, Pakistan, starting from June 1st, 2023. With this addition, Wizz Air now operates in 146 destinations across Europe, the Middle East, and now South Asia.
Moreover, Hungary’s government has issued a new decree that will impact shopping in the country. Starting from July 1st, 2023, supermarkets will be required to close by 6 PM on Saturdays and be closed entirely on Sundays. The move, according to the government, is to promote family time and allow workers in retail to have more time to rest.
