Police officers and health workers will also see an increase in their salaries. A police officer who currently earns 18,000 liras will see an increase to 21,667 liras when accounting for inflation. When the 107 percent increase is included, the officer’s salary will be 37,746 liras. Similarly, a doctor earning 24,743 liras will see an increase to 29,000 liras due to the 18.88 percent increase in inflation. When the 107 percent increase is included, their salary will increase to 51,218 liras. A nurse earning 11,833 liras will see an increase to 24,494 liras.
Overall, this salary increase will have a significant impact on the lives of civil servants in Turkey. It is a welcome change for those who have been struggling with the high cost of living and inflation in the country.
