Inbazar Employees Sentenced to 5 and 7 Days in Jail for Assault incident
The Sergeli District Court for Criminal Cases recently held a hearing regarding an assault case involving an employee of the Inbazar store chain. The incident gained attention after a video surfaced on social media showing an employee attacking another staff member. Subsequent reports revealed that the store’s manager had also resorted to violence against employees.
The Tashkent City Courts’ press service confirmed that on September 16, the Sergeli District Court for Criminal Cases heard the details of the incident. As a result of the court ruling, the store representative responsible for the assault was found guilty of violating Article 183 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (Petty Hooliganism) and was sentenced to 7 days of administrative arrest. Additionally, another employee who recorded the assault was also found guilty under the same article and received 5 days of administrative arrest.
