Increased Shuttle Frequency at Budapest Airport Starting October
Starting from 1 October, passengers traveling between downtown Budapest and Budapest Airport will benefit from increased frequency of shuttle bus 100E on the busiest days. This announcement comes from bkk.hu, which states that the transport frequency of the airport shuttle will be higher on Mondays, Fridays, and Sundays starting next week.
The shuttle bus, which operates between Liszt Ferenc International Airport and Deák Ferenc Square in the city center, runs 24/7 to accommodate the growing number of tourists visiting Budapest. The increase in frequency is expected to provide a more convenient and efficient transportation option for travelers.
Notably, the shuttle buses will now run every 6-7 minutes instead of the previous 7-8 minutes on Mondays and Fridays, while on Sundays, the frequency will increase to every 6-7 minutes instead of 8-9 minutes. On other weekdays, the frequency will remain the same, with slight adjustments on Saturdays.
Passengers can conveniently purchase tickets for the shuttle bus through the BudapestGO app, vending machines operated by BKK, and customer service offices. The availability of ticket purchase options aims to streamline the boarding process and make travel more accessible for all passengers.
With these enhancements to the Budapest Airport shuttle service, travelers can look forward to a smoother and more efficient commute between the airport and the city center. For more information and updates, passengers are encouraged to stay informed through official channels and the BKK map.
