Uludağ stated that the investigation has revealed a significant money transfer of 250 million liras to a subcontracting company with no tax record or employees. This company is linked to the Polatlar group of companies, which includes beauty salons and cosmetic products. The investigation has uncovered a pattern where money is transferred to these 5 companies and then withdrawn either in cash or through money orders, with most of the funds ultimately credited back to Engin Polat.
The investigation has also shed light on the couple’s extravagant purchases, including luxury houses and vehicles. Two images published by CNN TÜRK show the couple’s lavish lifestyle, raising further questions about the source of their wealth.
