Israel’s Gaza Attacks Continue, 21 Dead
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have reported that 333 rockets fired from Gaza have reached Israel, with 107 of them falling inside the Gaza Strip. The air defense system intercepted 153 rockets, but several hit Israeli settlements, causing material damage. One rocket hit a house in Sderot, while another hit a garden in Ashkelon; thankfully, nobody was injured in either incident. In response, the Israeli army has attacked 133 targets belonging to the Islamic Jihad Movement. Israeli air strikes have destroyed two houses and caused material damage in various areas.
The Islamic Jihad Movement warned that it would retaliate if Israel continued its attacks on houses in the region, threatening to target Tel Aviv and the interior of Israel. There have been 21 casualties from the Israeli army’s attacks on the Gaza Strip, including women and children, with a further 64 people injured. Of those who lost their lives, three were members of the military staff of the Islamic Jihad Movement.
Unfortunately, these events mark a continuation of the ongoing conflict between Israel and the Gaza Strip, with neither side willing to back down. The situation remains tense, and it is unclear what actions will be taken to resolve the issue peacefully.
