Israeli Forces Conduct 21 Raids on Al-Aqsa Mosque in September
Israeli forces continue to violate the Masjid al-Aqsa and the Ibrahim Mosque, according to a statement by the Ministry. Throughout September, Israeli usurpers have been carrying out raids and performing Talmudic rituals in these sacred places.
The statement reported that 21 raids were carried out on the Masjid al-Aqsa by Israelis who have usurped Palestinian lands. Additionally, in the Ibrahimi Mosque in Hebron, the call to prayer was prevented 69 times in the last month, including 19 consecutive morning prayers. This is seen as a deliberate attempt to disrupt the Islamic fabric of the region.
Israeli forces have also placed candlesticks and the Israeli flag on the roof of the mosque, performed Talmudic rituals, and attacked the muezzin in the usurped part. These actions pose a serious threat to the holy places of Islam.
The statement called on the international community to urgently intervene and stop these violations to protect the right of Muslims to worship in these holy places.
The Haram Al-Ibrahim Mosque and Al-Aqsa Mosque have been facing violations for years, including bans on the call to prayer on certain days. Israeli authorities continue to defy attempts by Islamic Foundations to stop the raids.
Located in occupied East Jerusalem, Al-Aqsa Mosque is the first qibla of Muslims. Excavations have been carried out under the complex, claiming to find remains of the Temple of Solomon.
The continuous violations against these sacred places are a cause for concern, and immediate action is needed to protect the rights of worship for Muslims in the region.
