Jennifer Lopez’s upcoming concert in Budapest has generated significant excitement among fans, with all standing tickets already sold out. According to a report by World Economy, many people have purchased tickets that include a meet and greet with the star.
Scheduled to perform in Budapest for the first time on Sunday, July 20 at the MVM Dome, Jennifer Lopez’s concert has attracted a large audience. Ticket prices for the event range from 49,000 forints (120 euros) for seated areas to 95,000 forints (233 euros) for premium standing spots. For a premium experience, fans can also purchase tickets for 610,000 forints (1,496 euros) to meet the star in person.
The high ticket prices have been attributed to the costly production of the show. Gábor Guba, owner of Green Stage Production, explained in an interview with Focus that the fees associated with Jennifer Lopez’s performance are the primary reason for the elevated ticket prices. The production has also been subjected to strict requirements from the singer’s agency, including specific standards for catering, accommodations, and amenities for the star.
Despite the high prices, the demand for tickets has been overwhelming, with most tickets selling out quickly. Approximately 80% of buyers are Hungarian, showing a strong local interest in the concert. The organizers expressed their gratitude for finally securing Jennifer Lopez’s performance in Budapest after years of effort and negotiation with the singer’s agent.
The upcoming “Up All Night” tour will include six European stops, with Jennifer Lopez set to perform in Turkey, Spain, Italy, Poland, Romania, and Hungary. The addition of Budapest to the tour has been a significant achievement for the Hungarian organizers, who have been dedicated to bringing the pop icon to the city for several years.
