“Journalist Nikolas Stelya speaks at “Conversations from Famagusta” event”
Journalist, writer, academic, Cyprus News Agency editor and Newspaper Wall reporter Dr. Nikolaos Stelya was the guest speaker at the Republican Turkish Party’s (CTP) “Chats from Famagusta” event this week. The CTP regularly organizes this event, and Stelya spoke about “Cyprus and the Eastern Mediterranean After the Elections of Turkey and Greece”. During her talk, she provided insights into the election atmosphere in both Turkey and Greece, and also shared her views on the possible outcomes for the Cyprus issue after the elections in Turkey.
The event was attended by CTP Famagusta Deputies Teberrüken Uluçay, Şifa Çolakoğlu, former Prime Minister Ferdi Sabit Soyer, Famagusta Mayor Süleyman Uluçay, CTP Famagusta District President Oktay Kayalp, Famagusta City Council members, many party members, and citizens. The moderator of the event, CTP Famagusta District Board Member Cemal Mert, stated that the Famagusta Conversations had been held on the same theme for two weeks in a row. Last week, the event featured a talk with Prof. Dr. Ahmet Sözen about the Eastern Mediterranean and Cyprus in the light of global and regional developments.
As the CTP continues to organize these events, it provides a platform for people to discuss and share information about current topics of interest, not only related to Cyprus but the wider Eastern Mediterranean and beyond. Each session provides a valuable opportunity for people to connect and exchange ideas and opinions.
