Kazakh Museum Showcases Great Steppe History in China
The Tianjin Museum in China recently opened an international exhibition dedicated to the Golden Man and the Great Steppe on Sept. 30, thanks to the initiative of the Kazakh National Museum.
The exhibition showcases 185 unique pieces from the collection of the Kazakhstan National Museum, as reported by Kazinform. Divided into three thematic sections, each segment of the exhibition focuses on different aspects of the development of Kazakh material and spiritual culture. Visitors can explore relics from the early Iron Age, discoveries from Kazakhstan’s medieval cities along the Great Silk Road, as well as traditional jewelry and decorative arts.
The Golden Man, the most famous archaeological discovery in Kazakhstan’s history, is a central feature of the exhibition and has become an integral part of the country’s symbols. The exhibition will be open for viewing until Feb. 12 next year, providing a valuable opportunity for visitors to immerse themselves in the rich cultural heritage of Kazakhstan.
