Kazakhstan has been named the best trending destination for travellers from the Middle East at the Arabian Travel Market exhibition held in Dubai. The award was presented to the Kazakh Ministry of Culture and Sports at the Versatile Excellence Travel Awards ceremony within the framework of the exhibition. Talgat Amanbayev, the chairman of Kazakh Tourism National Company, attributed the recognition to the introduction of a visa-free regime for UAE citizens for up to 30 days, and increased direct flights between the two countries. Several Kazakh travel companies and hotels, along with Air Astana airline, participated in the event, which attracted around 34,000 attendees over four days.
